This year, #OptOutside for a good cause

By now, you’ve no doubt heard of, and probably participated in, REI’s annual call to Opt Outside on Black Friday instead of hitting up stores and sales and early morning shopping sprees. This year, we’re suggesting to take things one step further: spend some time outside this holiday season by giving back. Not only will the fresh air and time away from screens be good for you, but you’ll also be able to help organizations who are working to protect our wild spaces and give back to the people and places that make our adventures possible.
